Patrick Thompson, MBA, CPA, MAcc
Patrick Thompson is the founder of Thompson Advisory, LLC. As an advisor or fractional business partner, Patrick provides robust guidance, financial leadership, and support to help charter strategic roadmaps based on a deep understanding of the value drivers of a business.
Throughout his career, Patrick has held a variety of technical, leadership, and business partnering roles spanning various business functions, including Commercial, R&D, Manufacturing, Corporate, and General & Administrative. These experiences have refined his ability to break down complex situations, provide direction within ambiguous environments, direct large-scale initiatives, and streamline processes. Spending the majority of his career in life-sciences, Patrick has experienced the challenges and opportunities of both large-cap pharma and biotech alike. Prior to this, Patrick started his career at KPMG working with clients from a variety of industries, including Carmax, Brinks Security, Genworth Financial, and others.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Richmond, an Executive MBA from Temple University, and is an active CPA in the state of Virginia.
